One year ago...

... the Panda's family was disturbed by the news, that papa Sean panda will have to be in NYC for a client's project for Nicholas's 1st birthday. So they booked the flights, got almost ripped of 2,000 usd by a Craigslist jackass, big cheater Bob, managed to get USA visa for babi Eva within 1 week, and soon were ready for the big 1 year birthday adventure! Long trip for the little man, but he was a real trooper on the flight. Yes, even the old lady behind us said she has never seen such a good baby! Unfortunately this kind of plane behavior did not last Nicholas much longer.

Big apple welcomed us with it's warm, pre Thanksgiving atmosphere. And while daddy was running from his jet legged son in the tiny hotel room, to his important client, Petra was making sure mom does not get lost in the big city. We managed it all, client, sightseeing, shopping (lots of it), seeing Michelle and Wes, and the Killea family.

Even though this was not a very typical 1st year birthday party, (but indeed a dream one for any 18 year old), it was great fun! Who would not wish to have his b-day in one of the Manhattan's hip restaurants! We got the hats, balloons, and chocolate cake, and had the best lunch-out b-day party for Nicholas!

This year however, we have totally different plans...
